expect to be met with large numbers of angry, sweaty, smelly people, some with even smellier food and some with live chickens.Įxpect that most passengers do not understand the concept of shared public space.Įxpect a good number of these folks to chat almost all the way down to AC on their phones. don't arrive at port authority on 11 AM on a saturday morning and expect it to be smooth sailing. If you can avoid it, don't travel from port authority at 5 or 6 or 7 PM on a friday. whether you enjoy the trip or simply grin and bear it is largely up to you and the defensive actions that you take. you're the master of your fate and the captain of your soul. And as for the Greyhound buses themselves (out of DC), they've been reliable, come with individual seat outlets to plug in electronic devices, & WiFi connectivity. And then plus I don't have to pay the $32 in Tolls, cost for gas both ways, or adding any car mileage. the discounted fare promotion, the Bally's $25 FreePlay upon arrival into AC, it's only costing me $9 R/T. $32, gas expenses both ways, &/or any potential traffic delays, taking Greyhound just seems more feasibly economic in the long run particularly whenever Greyhound is marketing discounted fare promotions. But once I factor in the R/T Tolls of approx. ride whereas when I drive, it takes almost 4 hrs. Is relying on Greyhound a lesser convenience factor for me Yes. extended weekend trips, I don't always feel like driving up to AC so I leave the car home, take public transit from home to DC/Union Station, & ride the Greyhound Bus up & back. Washington, DC/ Union Station to the Bally's Bus Terminal.

NYC (since I don't live there) to AC, I have taken Greyhound on multiple occasions bet. Although I can't comment on the Greyhound Bus service bet.
